I disagree with this review. I thought this was their best album yet. I admit I will miss the screams a bit, but they did very well even though Shadows had throat surgery.

But anyways, his vocals were great and the guitar was some of the best I've heard in a while. They put a lot of effort into this album and I hope to see more.

waking the fallen is their best album but City Of Evil gets to show how talented these guys really are with different styles of songs than what old fans are used to so i enjoyed it alot.

i also saw thesse guys in concert with bullets and octane and CKY, all of their stuff from city of evil sounds awesome live, not to mention the songs from waking the fallen also sounded better with less screaming and more just singing. i think the surgery was probaly the best thing that could of happened to him because with him not screaming it opens up their fan base to more people that might not have listened to them if they were just screaming, so now more people will actually like them and hopefully not just like them because they heard bat country once on the radio or on MTV but real musicians who actually listen to the music.
