ngl this is one of the first albums I'd pick up as far as changing attitudes towards age and experience and nostalgia go. same ballpark as the Meadowlands

Holy absolute fuck Colton, the guitars on this are some of the most pristine and delightful sounding guitars of the past two decades.

I also love the guitar sound here, I guess I could see why you might not like it (idk know too much about production but I guess the guitars are kind of compressed sounding?) but I’m pretty sure however they sound here is intentional.

Yeah overreaction on my part but I do adore the guitars, especially on tracks like Time’s Arrow or The Prescience of Dawn.

Love em all but title track, Plea, Psalm, Time’s Arrow, and Manifest are prob my top 5 in roughly that order. Back half is obvi amazing too but the early run is just insane.

I want to say I like Reunion Tour better than this (and I think I do still) but I played this at work today and holy crap yea this album is fantastic. I'll just go with a 5 for this album too. Kinda tired so I can't think so clearly or explain my thoughts better at the moment but there ya go.
