Chaos AD was like the equivalent of Black Album for extreme music at the time.

It was way too hard for me to digest at the time. Around a year later I sneaked into a club with the help of my older brother and refuse/resist cranked in. All the metalheads were head banging and me face melted.

Cool. First experience of Sep in a metal club was probably their cover of Motorhead's Orgasmatron and people going nuts over it haha.

Roots was my first experience with these guys too.
Still don't think it's too bad of an album, just not on par with the earlier ones at all.

Roots Bloody Roots was probably the first song I heard by them. Never got into the album (Roots) and never really liked Chaos that much.
Then I found 80's Sep, which is still some of my favourite death-thrash ever.
