I really dug the latest Astralborne. The vocals are pretty processed death metal style, not as much charm as something like early In Flames, but there are some phenomenal melodies and fairly decent songwriting.

It's #1 for me actually

These days it's probably a tie between this, TJR, and Whoracle for best IF album. There really is just something special about these early albums. Lunar Strain is pretty enjoyable too and has an amazing atmosphere
