Fair enough. It doesnt really matter if we all like the album I guess. Who cares what people call it...

For some reason as I've been listening to it more, I've gravitated towards liking the water disc a little better I think. :0This Message Edited On 11.02.07

Great review and great album. I was really surprised how well it turned out. I was skeptical after hearing about the ideas behind it and wasnt so sure if Thrice could pull this off and make it be good but they did it wonderfully and i cant wait to hear the second part when it releases next year. I really hope it lives up to Volumes I & II

I take back what I said earlier, Vheissu is better than this. This is still good, though.

Water disc grows and grows on me everytime I listen to it. I thought at first fire was better but it probably is water 5, fire 4

You can't say that while not even ever having heard Identity Crisis. It's the worst of what you've heard.

And I still like this album. Fire just has two duds that kinda kill it for me. Water is still ace though. The Whaler rules hard.

I totally and absolubtley forgot about Identity Crisis.

Given that fact then I will rephrase:

"Of the Thrice albums I've heard, this is the worst"... and given how I gave this a 4 thats saying somthing.

Cause it's pretty bad compared to their other stuff. The recording is bad, the songwriting isn't particularly great, the lyrics are definitely subpar.

My favorite album this year slightly over colors and definitely over everything else.

Pretty good, a little too much hub-bub around it, but still pretty good. I think Fire is better than Water because it can hold my attention more. There should have been a more upbeat song on Water, but whatever.
