um yeah. When the most boring part of the song is Akerfeldt's part, Edge of Sanity takes the crown for me.

Crimson II is better for me.

Yeah, this thing is amazing. I don't want to rate this or Crimson 2 for the sake of my objectivity. I heard both for the first time on When All Is Said... anyway, so I'll stick with rating just that.

That being said, I wish I could make myself listen to this more, I like to be somewhere clam and remain undisturbed, and listen to something like this straight through. But 40 minutes is a long time for nothing at all to happen lol. This does indeed rule, though I think I like Crimson II a little bit more.

I like Crimson II a lot more.

As for this, I think I have only heard it about four times all the way through.

The last four or so are my favorite of the entire song.

its a masterpiece, pure and simple. i didnt rate this because i got When All Is Said, but i rated that a 5 as it includes this and CII AND a best-of. I couldn't possibly rate it lower!

Finally found this for really cheap on a [foreign] mp3 music site. Thank you dollar, the former Almighty Currency!

I'm about halfway through - this is pretty freaking amazing. The production is a slight turn off, but that's pretty much it. Best part is the abundance of riffs and ideas that keep it from getting repetitive.
