The Dark Trail has an amazing ending for sure. This is good and I do enjoy it quite a bit actually, but better than Doppelganger? Not for me, I'd probably take s/t over this as well.

Yeah, Tom is pretty impossible to work with. When he's using, he's extremely erratic, which makes for very unpredictable relationships. I got to hand it to Tim, he stuck with the dude for a long time, so I wasn't surprised at his onstage meltdown. I do know that Tom is a perfectionist, and once again when he's using, he could be thinking he's nailing every single riff down during a live performance, when really he's a mess and all over the place. So, I thinkkkkkk the night of Tim's meltdown, Tom heard something he didn't like and tried to criticize Tim, and I suppose to Tim that was "the kettle calling the pot black" and he had just had enough. I'm truly only speculating when it pertains the onstage meltdown, but over the years I'm definitely sure about Tom's behavior and drug/alcohol abuse. I mean, the dude can't keep a band together to save his life.
