dunno why but downloaded all of LP's discography yesterday.

This isn't as bad as people make it out to be.

You can tell that right away from his chart.

I can't think of anyone here who listens to metal exclusively.

honestly, if you want to tear this album apart, atleast do it the right way. look at all the subtle things in the album. like the diversity in the instruments. and of course don't over look the electronic genious of the one and only Joe Han. really i would like you to write more clever verses for bleed it out (i know the chorus isin't great) but the intellegence of the lyrics in that song are epic. i am a die-hard LP fan. and i can see the changes that they have made to there sound. and i dont think its a bad thing. how could you realisticly expect a band to stay together as long as they have without making some changes. im shrue all of you have changed sence there Hybrid Theory album. and so have they.

there's no point in using a myriad of instruments if you're not going to utilize them in a sufficient way...and lyrics are not good or bad, most people will perceive chester's to be bad because they're VERY straightforward and unoriginal.

LP has never, I repeat never had "intelligent" lyrics.

i am a die-hard LP fan.

which explains why you're defending this suckfest.

I kinda agree lyric-wise with these guys. The lyrics suck. However, I don't think the intruments deserve to be labelled as bad at all. They're not technical at all, but that's ok because the end result is something that fits with the progressive feel they were going for in their songs. The vocals aren't nearly as bad as most ppl make out imo.

did you really say progressive?

and no, nothing's wrong with the vocals other than a few of the lines being used over and over

probs shuda said "more progressive", a bit like coldplay's approach to their songs, but LP have added their own element of rock to it.

I'd like to see these guys go totally electro-industrial. That would be an interesting direction. Even if they did it poorly, it'd be better than this.
