I actually think the song's supposed to be taken at face value, though the meaning of that one line is slightly different when taken out of context. It's a shitty example actually i admit, i couldn't think of something better at the time. I didn't think anyone would be too nitpicky because the point im making isn't really dependent on the lyric example.
