That stinks. I bought the deluxe edition of this back in 2007 the second or third day it came out. Some tracks disappoint me, but it's still a lot of fun. "Dismantle. Repair." should have been released as a single.

Excellent review.
I agree about that one song, too. Inevitable.

To be vague and not mention details: I remember the first time I heard it, what I was doing then, and now whenever I hear the chorus, I get such a melancholy sense of nostalgia for that time. Great song.

It may not be as poppy and fun as NTFP, but it's an excellent album nonetheless. Honestly, and this is rare for me, I haven't heard a song from these guys that I hate. Everything's solid, and every song has a lot of meaning behind it. I've been following their career since their debut (and even spoke to Stephen once), so that may even be a bit of sentimental bias. It seems at least one song from each release reminds me of something I was going through when the album's came out. Bias or not, that's a hell of a lot better than the usual lack of feeling I get out of metal, which is primarily what I listen to.

Damn I love these guys.

Gave this a listen for the first time, this is really good. Adelaide is one of the catchiest things I've heard in a long time.

Ok after listening to this again I have to change my mind and say its slightly better than New Surrender. Its way more consistent, as Surrender has more filler, but the best of Surrender is better than the best of this. If that makes any sense.

New Surrender honestly didn't grab me as much. I haven't listened to it that much yet, but this is easily their best work here imo. Not a single song that I would skip.

About half of New Surrender is stellar, like really fucking good. Breaking, Feel Good Drag, Disappear, Breathe, Burn Out Bright, The Resistance ftw.
