Lol this album was the start of IF's decline.... great album but this is pretty much is the album that kicked them off best metal bands of all time lists. Great album but their baby steps into the wrong direction.

His range and delivery is impressive. He likes experimenting which is cool, but at times its a bit much on clayman. Oh yeah and he can sing as well so that's cool.

Haha aren't they selling well? Come clarity had something interesting elements but it felt a bit too chaotic. Also those drums, damn I don't think they can sound duller.

Maybe they got bored of their old style? They had been doing it for a few albums............ And now they've been doing this for a few albums. Oh I don't know maybe they wanted to troll at the cost of their careers :P. Wanted to piss off the loyal fanbase.
So you're an oldschool fan I presume, you have that soft spot for the band and still listen to them hoping that they might write some good music again. That about right?

I know that feel bro, with Dream Theater. Although their decline wasn't this dramatic. But maybe someday. Jesper leaving was a big blow, I used to love his playing, very fluid, especially his solos.
