The downmix somewhat makes it sound like it's a live recording with all the little nuances that come with it which I dig

it's also not nearly as compressed so the dynamic range is felt much more clearly, not going ape shit to some of these songs is a lot harder now

I think the differences between the normal version and the downmix is a lot more notable on Fear, especially on stuff like Electric Guitar, Life During Wartime and especially Drugs.

i always had a hard time enjoying the digital versions of this compared to the vinyl master.. this 'downmix' is great and definitely compares. thanks for posting.

the original is obvs already perfect as it is, i often don't enjoy re-masters myself, but this one was definitely a pleasant one. i dig both for different reasons as well (also yeah, one of the songs was slightly sped up and that threw me way off balance).

Yeah that was disappointing, it's the only thing that makes me wanna listen to the version I had over this one

I'm sure the guy already noticed it but I sent him an email asking him about it and waiting to see what he'll say, hope he has another version stored

Whenever i hear someone say they dont lime 'the overload' i just assume they dont have a proper subbwoofer setup. That track is meant to make the house shake.

Seen and Not Seen is the only non-perfect song on here and even then it's pretty cool.
