NV has the better story/more freedom in your choices



3 has the better atmosphere and better exploration imo

NV feels a lot more like an Old-School Fallout game to me, I grew up with those games so I appreciate it a lot more

Fallout 3 had good gameplay, I liked it, but the world was butchered in my mind.

pretty much yeah, but there are so many little things that got tweaked in NV that just added to the experience so much. like the more realistic and detailed cooking/crafting, how you sip the canteen when thirsty, the fact that you can actually shoot with accuracy in first person...
