The lyrics on this album don't get praised nearly enough. It's a masterwork imo.

i dunno, my current favorite might be long road no turns.
“ain’t it funny how it works, someone’s always got it worse” that part gives me full body chills

"I used to think the middle of the album paled in comparison to the bookends but over time the albums quality kind of smoothed out for me"

@Larkinhill:
Their other stuff does not have this creepy atmo. s/t is groovy and hardcore as shit while being noisy and original at the same time. And Hell Songs is straight weird and insane but definitely worth checking out

I absolutely agree. Some really interesting lines here. Listening to Paul's story in Ocean Song is really dark and intriguing

It’s even better when you realize it’s a sequel song to The Virgin from s/t

yeah s/t goes hard and isn't too far behind this. The Hit is probably my second favorite song of theirs after Guest House

s/t bangs so hard. So fucking groovy and phenomenal live...especially when observing Nick Sadler (guitars) playing this freaky shit.

This is seriously the hardest 5 I have ever given. Still spinning this shit on at least a weekly basis.

I've gotta be in the right mindset (which admittedly isn't a great one) but yes this hasn't lost its luster a single ounce. Easily top 25 of the decade for me
