That's unfortunate. Been to several mwY shows and I can tell you that they're usually off the charts amazing.

Just saw them last night, I'd have to agree that Thrice stole the show but I think it was mainly due to advantages they had as the headliner. they were much louder and mixed much better, and they had a somewhat elaborate light show that heightened the mood and made sitting in the balcony more bearable. I feel like if it were switched and mewithoutyou was the headliner and thrice was support, mewithoutyou could have then stolen the show.

The one time I saw mwY, they were supporting Coheed and their mix was absolute dogshite. Crowd were dead af too, and the whole experience was kinda limp in a way that didn't seem their fault at all -meeting Aaron after was easily the highlight of the evening

Sounds like my experience, I know they can do better. I saw them in a smaller venue in LA right after Untitled came out and it was fucking "bananas"

I've seen them (I think) 6 times. Only time they weren't really good was opening for Circa Survive on the OLG anniversary tour. The mix was awful, crowd was poopy, and aaron spent more time running around than anything else lol. I was still into it, but if I wasn't a big fan, I'd have been... unimpressed.

Saw them on a bill with The Menzingers and Pianos Become the Teeth in 2015 and mwY were easily the best set of the evening

the one time i saw them was with The World Is A Beautiful Place & I Am No Longer Afraid To Die, and Delta Sleep supporting. Was a fucking great gig in manchester, mewithoutYou and Delta Sleep were miles ahead of TWIABP at that show.

my best friend and i have plans to see them on the B,S tour but idk if it's gonna keep getting pushed back or not. Current date is in July I'm pretty sure

I think the dates were pushed back, not sure though. Can't wait to see them again. They put on an absolutely magnificent show when I saw them a year ago.
