I guess if I had to rank the album:

Sea of Madness

The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner

Alexander the Great

Caught Somewhere in Time

Wasted Years

Stranger in a Strange Land

Deja Vu

Heaven Can Wait

Fantastic album all around though

Not a single bad track though, if I start listening, I need to listen to everything.

You guys are insane. SiaSL is arguably my fav IM track of all time. The blues-y cadence through out is so addicting.

Deja Vu is like the title track but with all the fat trimmed. Excellent tune.

Fantastic song, but Moonchild just barely edges it out for best opener imo

Harris has too many hard grooves.

I think I've been coming to terms with the fact that Maiden, Priest and Motörhead have been different bands with different impacts on metal. Each of them has been built differently.

Yeah those three and Saxon and Queensryche to me are the GOATs of the 80s, and each defined a very nice niche in metal.

Heavy metal (lead) guitarists have to listen to this before recording anything, especially the solos on the first two songs
