When people say a band is overrated, I generally tell them there's a reason they're overrated, regardless of whether I agree or not. And the Beatles are a perfect example of that... given albums like this, Rubber Soul, Sgt Pepper, etc. they deserve to be overrated

White Album is more divisive among Beatles fans than you would think. It's especially controversial in the never ending McCartney-Lennon fan wars.
I consider it to be a masterpiece, but it's definitely not for everybody.
