Pretty sure they're digitally fucked vocals and guitar. They approximate a lot of it vocally when it's played live. But it's basically instrumental. Pendulous Skin has some vocals buried in there but they're so legato and effected that it's also pretty much an instrumental.

^ I was listening to this song on repeat once firstly because it's dope, secondly because I wanted to see what the lyrics were talking about. Finally I gave up and searched them on the internet. If I reacll correctly, the physical copy includes no lyrics so they think of it as a semi-instrumental... People's ideas of what they're talking are great and made me get an idea of the concept.
