when you join it auto syncs with your itunes, unfortunately for me i always used to delete my entire itunes library and then add the songs again so it didnt sync anything

You can also link it to an ipod, then again I don't use Ipod so I wouldn't blame you for not using it lol

yea, it will take a few min but either it will sync automatically (if you choose so) or it will show you the scrobbles and ask you whether to scrobble them or not
