yes Venin I agree, all of their albums (bar Chaosphere I guess lmao) have those moments in the albums that bring some levity and breathing room into the barrage, to have moments where I’m not compelled to headbang constantly

this happens to me a lot more now than it used to when i was younger, i remembered being able to gulp down nothing but heavy ass core stuff around age 14-15 but nowadays i feel the variety needle coming more and more
what made shugg click was actually attempting to channel this style in a track I was writing. i don't think i quite got the sound down, but it was what i was trying to do on a whim one day
