yeah for the SF and TDAG it does contextualize things and unfortunately makes the sadness he talks about have that much more depth and justification as he probably feels real shitty about his past

This reminds me of a buddy I had a conversation with, I would have been 33 at the time and he was a bit younger, like 31.
We're in a club and he asks me 'you must still find teenaged girls attractive?'. It's the sort of conversation you dread and fear is coming from certain dudes.
I said, sure some are attractive physically but watch them behave or talk to them and there's no attraction at all. He was just at that awkward stage when you have to realise that you're a man and you can't entertain that idea. At all.
Now if you're a rock star and you've got people egging you on and you're high all the time and have a god complex and constant opportunities....

well, he did date a 21 year old when he was 29, so I was a little worried he was going younger and younger - he's always in a band or two and a minor local celebrity so he always liked the skinny girl on the arm thing
