Damn.
Yeah man people who don’t have depression just have no idea what it’s like. They think because they’ve been situationally depressed, they know what chronic depression is like. Situational depression always has a light at the end of the tunnel. Chronic depression is a much nastier beast.
You can replace depression with addiction in the first sentence and apply the same.
