"was a huge fan of their music until i learned about their political leanings."

Lol I was just about to say that I've been seeing this online all over the place lately. I thought it was obvious based on the lyrics of pretty much all of their songs, let alone the name of the band.

fortunately i can still trust in the PATRIOTS in bands like strike anywhere and anti-flag to check the politics at the door and support our brave officers of LAW.

So pissed that Covid took my chance at seeing them live away. Hopefully see em next year if it gets rescheduled.

I see a few artists rescheduling, so it's definitely possible. They should tbh

Ayy while we're in this particular thread I wanna bring up something that confuses me.

Why don't people like moshing? I see people complain about it in forums all the time. I can't imagine seeing Killing In The Name Of live and not going absolutely mental. Most of my favourite gig experiences have involved just fucking careening into cunts during heavy songs. Why the hate?

I can think of a few reasons. Some people are shy, small, unfit, don't like being touched prone to broken limbs, emotionally repressed and unable to let loose, afraid of hurting people, etc. - but still wanna hang out in front and watch the show.

These guys' pits do look amazing, though.

Conversely, watching people mosh to a band like Deafheaven is awkward to watch (Pitchfork Music Festival 2014).

Yeah, it does look a bit awkward. Too many brightly coloured shirts in that crowd.

They're having fun, tho
