Can't be bothered to get into the Meddle discussion again, all Floyd rules let's just leave it there

This was the first album to ever have a profound effect on my life. Up until I was almost 19, I was nothing more than a casual music fan. Since jamming this, music consumption has become a major part of my life. After hearing this for the first time, I was floored. I listened to it every day for months, each time bringing a new experience, being somehow unique. Every guitar note, every solo, every lyric, it all seemed so perfect. The lyrics to Time described life more poignantly than any I'd heard before. I'd never experienced chills like I did when that first chorus in Us and Them came exploding through the speakers. I know others tend to favour some of the Floyd's other, more technically proficient records , but none have them have connected with me in the way this has. I don't listen to it very often any more, but every time I do, it takes me away to that special place when my life was a little more simple. So yeah, sorry about this rant, this is just what this album means to me.

Well, I prefer the Wall to Meddle. Division Bell, however, does not come close

I prefer the Wall to Meddle as well although I have to say Meddle is one of the greatest hangover albums of all time.

This is the only PF album I was ever able to really experience and connect with past a basic, superficial level. Does that make me a bad person?
