Maybe an unpopular opinion, but I'm starting to feel the 'These artists are hacks and should've quit X amount of years ago' sentiment is super unhealthy
And it doesn't accurately reflect the reality of working under a for-profit music industry, or also the reality of just... being a person that wants to make creative works for the world.
This idea that 'You've already made a good album, make any future albums that are less good and you'll be somehow ruining it for me' is super childish sorry not sorry

To me he’s a legend and no one can take that from him. Sold a shit ton of records, awards, movies, shared his whole life with no censor and was always humble in his respect for the craft of hip hop, inspire of running circles around 97% of rappers. I kinda like the new album but I don’t care if it sucked, Eminem is the fuckin man but he does have the liberty since he owns his own label to release music at his own pace like Royce and not drop an album unless it’s incredible.
Like all the OGs said, you’re only as good as your previous album.
