Murder me Rachael might be one of the only songs worth visiting on their debut..

I've heard Alligator and this, Boxer. I haven't heard the one after High Violet, Trouble Will Find Me. I also haven't heard Sad Songs but that's not a certified classic.

butcherboy, that's on their second album and it has some good tracks on it. I'm not too fond of their debut though, but it does have Bitters and Absolut which I like a lot.

ALA, I think Sad Songs is pretty fucking good. I just barely started getting more into it. Trouble Will Find Me is awesome.

ALA High Violet is my joint favorite album of all time so idk if I can handle you giving it anything below a 4.

Tbh the only reason I'm not pissied at you for 3.5ing this is the knowledge that TWFM took 3 years to grow from a 3.5 to a 5 for me.

No bigs, butch. I forget the first album exists because I never listen to it. But Sad Songs for Dirty Lovers has Cardinal Song, 90-Mile Water Wall, Murder Me Rachel, Thirsty, Available and Sugar Wife- or Trophy Wife, idk one of them sucks and one of them is great. It does dip at the end though.

i think what i don't like about sad songs isn't even the quality of the songs themselves, but the production.. by alligator, they started wrapping his voice in atmospherics which made the albums sound gorgeous.. and the drumming got infinitely better..
