Saw him play this front to back in 2012 with Killer Mike opening, was dope.

I feel like if any wu members (out of like the main main ones) need more credit it's gza. Feel like everyone talks about how great this album is, and how "the group is like Voltron and he's the head" but then when the "favorite wu member" discussion comes up, pretty much everyone goes either Raekwon, Ghostface, or ODB.

could be cos GZA has like a handful of good solo songs outside of this album whereas Ghostface/Meth didn't drop off and ODB probably wouldn't have (Rae did but still occasionally pulls a great moment out of his ass)

Meth, GZA, Raekwon would be my top 3 if we were ranking but they all rule.

I haven't the slightest idea of how to appreciate this sort of music nor do I understand how someone who loves black metal so much can love this.

this is probably the only rap album I like enough to listen to on a regular basis, yet its probably in my top 5 albums of all time

I never understood this idea that if you love black metal, then you should be genetically incapable of enjoying hip hop. Or if you like jazz then you can't like punk. like who gives a shit, good music is good music.

odb kind of seemed like the gimmicky member to me if that makes sense. But I still think he was funny

well he never had a great solo record (even though many great wu solo albums arent solo at all) so that's probably why

ODB gets hella love from people who are super into the "abstract" side of hip hop... not so much from your average hip hop heads.

If I remember correctly, Kendrick Lamar barely beat him in the "sput's favorite rapper tourney" from a while ago
