Yeah, you're probably right. Gonna jam ATF again and see what's up
It's been years.

That's what I mean Lelle, the complexity is one of the main appeals of the genre for me and I miss it a bit. Not to say the songwriting isn't superb on their later stuff, AWLWLB could be argued as one of their best and most consistent works to date. Axe to Fall rips too...as well as all of their other stuff haha. Definitely one of my top 5 favorite bands.

I don't go to Converge for the math really, if I want that there's always Dillinger
|
| |
They've never been the most mathy metalcore band but they're definitely much more linear in their songwriting now

Can't argue with that, not something that really bothers me though just an evolution of their sound

Works very well for them.

Oh yea I'd never argue that they aren't still one of the best hardcore bands twenty years going.

Redux is probably the best remix of an album I've ever heard

Wolves at My Door fits into the tracklisting seamlessly too.

That I would disagree with; I find it a little jarring / poorly placed in the album, though not as jarring as I used to, so I skip it at times. Regardless, its a fine addition as an individual song
