I doubt his drumming outside of DG would really be your thing. His style is usually pretty assaultive and angular. Just note flurries with accents in odd places, but I love that. Plus he has to pretty much have the fastest right foot in the world.
Also, a lot of times I don't really even consider DG hip hop.
