what pisses me the fuck off is its turned into some trendy bullshit for people that don't give a shit about the LGBT movement to use as a stepping stone to look progressive and accepting



i'll give you an example, there's this thing the day of silence at my school where you're supposed to wear duct tape over your mouth to honor the silence of queer kids who have to stay silent for their own safety. yeah that's cool in concept and everything but 75% of the people i saw doing it were the SAME EXACT PEOPLE who are casually homophobic constantly and still make gay jokes and say no homo they were the same exact people that make it so i don't feel comfortable being open in high school



like holy fuck for a day that's supposed to honor queer students i don't think it could have pissed me off more i wanted to smack them all cause like it was so clear they didn't actually care about queer people at all they just cared about people seeing them with their trendy duct tape over their mouths so they could look cool and forward thinking

I honestly wish I could do more sometimes. I mean, actively. I normally give people some extreme shit for being homophobic. Almost got my ass kicked a couple weeks ago. Not really a safe way to go about things at bar dives in Alabama.

Yeah, that is some weak ass shit to stand behind when they break commandments on the regular. The only thing in the Bible that is anti gay is super duper fucking vague and only mentioned one time.

it's more a case that the church throughout the years decided that they would enable hell to exist. you'd be surprised how many things believed by Christians now aren't mentioned in the bible or any other books, and were simply interpretations that the church's council agreed on. and through numerous councils they finally agreed on an accepted idea of hell. the description of hell isn't mentioned once in the bible, though. pretty much everything in the contemporary view of hell comes from Dante's Divine Comedy.

My boss is understaffing the fuck out of that place and is behind a month on paying me. Then has the gall to try to tell me to

pick up the flack for someone else when we're in the middle of dinner rush. I told him how stupid that was and he demanded

to talk with me on the phone (because he wasn't there). All of our equipment is crapping out. He's keeping raw meat and

lettuce on top of each other in the same cooler. We have a rat problem he's not planning to do anything about.
