Why has Lawrence looked not-so-hot this year, or the Jags' offense in general? Haven't watched many games at all but am surprised at how pedestrian they've appeared despite all their assets. They're winning games mostly so can't complain too much, but feel like they're gonna have a bad time come post-season, especially if they bump into an AFC North squad.

Press Taylor is an abysmal OC, we’ve had injuries and also just some bad luck in the endzone. TLaw has certainly been struggling but Ridley has also been hard time and Zay Jones has been out almost all year. It’s still a young team too. But they are definitely not performing up to their expectations.

lmao the two times i watched the jags this year (steelers & chiefs games) i feel like i saw at least half a dozen instances of them turning it over in the redzone + TDs getting called back on penalties or overturned on review. seems like a team that just can't get a break

Up to this point Lawrence has been painfully mid(more like qb 12 but still) and hasn’t taken that next step yet into stardom we come to expect with “generationally” talented qbs. He is too gifted to remain average forever plus he gets a longer mulligan due to the Urban Meyer fiasco. Though, if there’s a reason why they haven’t taken the leap into being serious contenders yet I think it falls squarely on the former number 1 overall pick’s shoulders bad coaching notwithstanding.

The rest of this season is going to be career defining for him, and yeah I tend to agree that QB 12ish is a fair assessment. He does fumble a lot and throw some silly picks but thems the Jags so we just chalk it up to that.
