Satty do you hate these guys purely based on the lyrics to that one song or are there other factors in play here

i wouldn't really even say i hate them, but i've always derived a certain amount of satisfaction from making fun of them and their "scream for jesus" counterparts. and tocs is objectively one of the worst albums ever.

i kinda like litsos and disambiguation.

Fair enough, I mean I hate all the Jesus talk too but it pretty much disappears on these last three albums and most of the lyrics are about Spence's drug addiction which I find pretty compelling

Too Bright to See Too Loud to Hear is the only time they get too eye rollingly Jesusy for me on these albums and thankfully the songs good enough for me to ignore it

yeah i mean the lyrics can get kinda lame at points but the tunes are good so i can kinda see past that. Should probably listen to their last two albums at some point.

Was watching an interview and spencer and aaron said Lost in the Sound was both their favourite record.
