Definitely doesn’t suck, but does pale in comparison to the previous four albums. There are some great songs here, but also some awful and meh ones.

Agree Deathbat. Spencer's vocals kill a lot of that album, also the lyrics on some tracks are yeesh. Though so are some on this album tbh, but the music and vocals carry songs even when the lyrics aren't top tier. I'm probably gonna piss off so many people when I say I actually probably like this album better than Disambiguation. They can easily be flipped when ranking their discography.

TOCS is miles beyond this imo. It’s just a different, more playful/less serious sound.



Honestly both albums are fairly generic genre wise, but TOCS is just so much more impressively executed.

this is better than anything pre-Spencer but not as good as any of the other albums with Spencer. still enjoy it a lot though

TOCS and Define are their best imo. Both obliterate this stinker. I think the only reason I’m so angry and bumped this down is cause I REALLY wanted more songs like On My Teeth. But then single after single came out and I was left feeling... disappointed to say the least. It’s all just so generic and far beyond their formula in a really bad way. Saddens me hard to say that. Hold Your Breath does rule though.
