Quick story: I remember years ago, during a time of traversing through post metal world, I asked some friends of mine if I should check out Vermis. I had never heard of the band. Some webzines attached the "post" tag on Vermis, so wth, I gave it a shot. I listened to the first couple of songs and did not feel anything. I deleted it from my hard drive. Skipped this release, but with an open mind I checked out Shrines Of Paralysis. I love it. It sounds a lot like Departe and Ulsect which I adore. I want to give Vermis another try (some claim it has more "post" in it than any other Ulcerate release) and give this one a spin too, but I may be scarred for life. Well not really, it's just allocating time for them, lol.

If you want their post-iest release, listen to Destroyers. It's also their best.

Ulcerate is the sole reason those bands exist and they do it 100x times better their spawn does, so you ought to be worshipping the ground these dudes walk on if you like those two bands.
