The problem isn't even elitism. It's just that people start shit over slight differences of opinion.
It doesn't bother me when I disagree with somebody. It bothers me when I disagree with somebody and then they proceed to insult me because of said disagreement.
The whole point of a music site is to learn about each other's opinions and hopefully discover cool new stuff in the process. It's kind of hard to do that when everyone's throwing shade at each other.

i dont have a problem with people disagreeing with me whatsoever but when they A) claim their opinion is fact B) then trying to claim you said things you didnt in order for them to further justify their OPINIONS yeah im going to shit down your throat because closed mindedness is my biggest pet peeve in people
"you just dont understand" etc is fucking horseshit and so fucking childish, i can claim that my favorite album is kid cudis newest and its not any less of a right or wrong opinions than any other fav album choice

Jesus Christ mike would you happen to have a shaven head and sport an orange robe 7 days a week? its fine to call someone out if they're being an outright cunt but I think both had some substance to their arguments. Both initially made objective remarks on a subjective topic (as we all do though, even Ocean the voice of reason himself is guilty of this no doubt) so both are culprits although Chuck spent his time attacking the man not the ball and parks did produce some solid evidence to support his claims so I think I'll have to give this round to him.

It's fine to judge the actions of someone but not the person themselves. Someone may act like an outright cunt, but that doesn't mean I'm saying he/she IS an outright cunt. That is judging in context of the person rather than their behavior or actions, and that part I don't agree with.
They both have substance to their argument. That is true. However, I feel they misread some of what they said to each other, furthering the argument between them.
