I can't put my finger on it, but compared to the other three hip-hop albums I have 5'd (To Pimp a Butterfly, Ready to Die, Illmatic), there's something missing from this one. This album is artistically superb, but still feels...soulless, I guess.

Really apart from Bible there isn't much soul here but for what it is it is done damn near perfectly imo. And if I recall correctly BIBLE was originally supposed to be on Killah Priest album but ended up here

I know, but a 4.75 would round up to a 5 on Sput's .5 rating scale, which is why I said "4.7444". I spammed the comment on the threads of four albums that are really close to being 5s for me but just aren't there.



@Dominion I understand why one would feel that way about the track, but I like it regardless and it doesn't detract from the album for me personally.
