I can see why somebody would like certain metal subgenres but not Sabbath, though. I can also see why somebody would like Dio-era Sabbath but not Ozzy-era Sabbath, and vice versa.
All metal branches down from these guys somehow, but the branches are so long now that some subgenres sound like a completely different genre from Sabbath.
