Nah fam I had to listen to all those terrible hair bands my dad loved growing up. Queensryche was the only only one I ever came around to. Def Leppard, Scorpion, Poison, Quiet Riot etc

They’re all fucking terrible. Some people so far behind in the race that they actually believe they’re leading

C'mon man hair metal won't hurt you anymore. You are just opening up the old wounds by raging over it in unrelated threads.

nah the wound is still fresh. I was exposed to that shit for at least fifteen years minimum. Possibly the worst rock genre there is.

Listening to the singles in context of the album really put things into perspective. Honestly the singles felt like good scenes off a great film, something was not quite there, and I doubt I could return to many songs off the album by themselves, for that reason. But Game Over, oh man, does that song drive me nuts.

And to address what you say about some fan's wish for a "trademark a7x album": the longest running album streak where they actually have some sonic cohesion is Self titled and Nightmare. Hell the transition from Waking the Fallen to City of Evil was insane and totally alienated their fanbase, so I don't get exactly what an "average fan" would expect of a7x. Enjoy the ride, if you don't, it's fine

Matt doesn’t wear aviators anymore. A trademark A7X album will never happen again.

Exactly. This wasn’t what I expected, but I’ve never known exactly what to expect when this band puts out a new record

In the last 3 month my arms have grown exponentially more than they did previously just by listening to this. Not even sure it has to do with lifting more, just listening to this might make you bigger.
