Such a shame that both times I've seen these guys live, something was up with Olli. First time his vocals were shot to hell as he stated from jet lag and touring but he gave it his all. Second time some fucking dumbass fan body tackled him off stage prior to the Philly show and he had a concussion so a bunch of the opening bands filled in on vocals.

so i listened to this a few times yesterday. absolutely love it. i usually am not a huge fan of pure throwbacks but this is so good. sounds right out of the mid 00's, very they're only chasing safety in the melodies and hooks. super anthemic and there's just enough real bite here as well. especially on the guys highs. was not expecting marisol, what a tune. few of my other favs were fleahouse, push rope and courtney just relax.

Revisited this in anticipation of the new record and it still rules. Agreed with you Futures man this is a really great example of an 00's throwback, I think the fact that new Underoath sounds kinda bad is partially why this works so well but it's also just because these guys are really good songwriters.
