the problem with kanye that his media personality has made it so that it wouldn't be implausible imo for him to make something shitty, thinking it's good
honestly bound 2 isn't even as bad as most people make it out to be, and I don't think the video itself is poor enough or on the right ways to make effective satire
also like from all I know about kanye it wouldn't be a stretch in my mind for him to react to the negative reception by implying it's satire in an attempt to save face
also nothing I've seen or read about the video points to it being tongue in cheek

That's a reasonable enough assumption, but again just look at the videos I posted; You don't have to like them or the songs in them, but look at how planned and meticulous and expensive everything has been made with
Bound 2 was made with shitty green screen effects and almost no skill displayed in the directing whatsoever; How can you even think for a second that someone that is generally known for making really crafty videos look at the Bound 2 video and go "wow this is fucking dope we're keeping it!!!"
And if you're thinking that those videos I posted were 3 years old by the time the Bound 2 video came out (so he could've lost something in that time), just a few months before that he had also released that freaky Black Skinhead video that also pretty clearly has a lot of stuff going on.

I've followed his story throughly and I haven't found anything that even slightly hints that he has done this. There was even a time where he received an award that he outright admitted he didn't think he deserved, and decided to give it away. Sure, the guy is on the dick side and he definitely has an ego; But he's much more honest and confident about his music and craft than you think
also nothing I've seen or read about the video points to it being tongue in cheek
I read a post from p4k's official tumblr that he had told them something like he was anticipating that response or that that's what he wanted, or something of the sort. Post is really old, I don't know when was it and I probably won't try to find it but that's what I saw.

I think it's tongue-in-cheek, meaning it's made to be silly and largely ridiculous, and of course it is
Although, there was a fairly interesting theory on it being a satire I saw a while ago, that is actually supported by facts like the weird way he markets in his concerts and such. I'll see if I can find it

Asianguy, are you seriously implying that Kanye's Bound 2 video was ANYTHING BUT tongue-in-cheek given his 9 minute epic Runaway? He can afford the best, he's made some of the most creative, there's no reason to assume that Bound 2 was anything but tongue-in-cheek.
