They didn't set the bar that high, they plagued this album with generic breakdowns, lots of them are good but you can see spots where creativity ran out.

Nah I don't think it's smart for bands to release singles so long before an album comes out. Everyone hates the song by the time the album drops which ruins the flow of the album.
