Hell yeah Hawks. Jam the remaster if you can— other than sounding better it’s got some nice lil tweaks and additions. Original is still 5/5 so no worries if not

It’s always been a toss between this and TLCW, I’d say the production gives this one a bit of a nudge. Definitely a transitional album

@Futures aw man, that’s one of those CDs that single-handedly changed what kind of music I listen to

For instance there’s a short lil interpolation of “Three Inch Horses” (bside) at the end of “A Different City” that isn’t present in the original. “I don’t-I don’t-I don’t-I don’t know but I’ve been told, you never die if you never grow old”

Lonesome was always my favorite, but over the past few years this one has grown to become my favorite.

MM has always been one of those bands that kind of grate on me after a while on their records but holy fuck do they put on an incredible live show. Like 10/10.

I wish I had been to that MM show. The one I went to was the worst show I'd been to until I saw Creed and 3 Doors Down a couple of years ago. This was during the Strangers to Ourselves tour. Brock's guitar kept cutting in and out for the first 3 songs, there were like 12 fucking musicians spread out through the stage and Brock was three sheets to the wind before the show even started.

One of the few bands I love that I haven’t seen even once yet. Hopefully I can catch them this October.
