@jamie well what i was saying was that the technical ability *translated into* more interesting, varied compositions. i could give less about technical proficiency. to each their own of course.
Yeah technicality doesn't really mean anything (with regards to what we're talking about), I wasn't implying that that's what I thought you meant. I find the playing on Morningrise more interesting cos it seems more emotive to me.
