Yeah, but even the weaker songs on this still smash the best any other band can attempt.

It's like Tool are competing with Wintersun for how long each can delay their album and piss off their fans the most

It was a lot more of a personal affair this time round, so that's why I like them just as much.

Remember when Modest Mouse cancelled like an entire tour to 'work on the new album' like years ago
And still nothing

I disagree with this review so much. The songs you
to pick apart because it doesn't fit with how YOU
believe Tool should have created THEIR album you
focus on the one aspect that you disagree with and
call the entire song shit. For example Rosetta
Stone is one of Adam Jone's best tracks of his
career. He utilizes a custom brass pipe bomb mic
that's thrown on the floor to record his most
unique riffs of his career.
Where you see falter in Jambi I consider Jambi one
of the greatest tracks on the album. Intention?
Also a top favorite. All in all I consider 10,000
days to be their greatest to date and that's saying
a lot since I've heard lateralus and Aenima over
200 times each.
There is no other band in existence that has
created such a defining sound for themselves and
continues to bring forth grade A material. Tool to
me has only gotten better and more creative with
time. Some people fail to recognize that as time
goes on band members age and mature and this can
influence always does influence the sound of a
band. People get caught up in his hard undertow was
well fuck they were 18 at the time creating that
album. Do you know how much growing you do in 10
years? Let go of undertow and embrace them as a
band that continues to let out tracks that are both
thought provoking and then next up will put a grin
on your face.
The song right in two, talking about taking a shit,
is nothing new to these albums. How about von? How
about hooker? How about nearly every track off
puscifer? It comes with the territory and allows a
welcomed break from the seriousness of the likes of
wings for Marie.

Yeah that idiot with his subjective opinion. Who the hell has subjective opinions about music? It's good you're here with the cold hard facts instead.

Um their sound wouldn't exist without bands like King Crimson or Rush
