I actually never heard of Pink Floyd until sometime in like 2006, and that was in an episode of Alf lol

my country can't make good music popular to save their lives

yea atrophy that part grooves so hard

however the most spine-tingling moment in the floyd discog for me is easily the climax at the end of dsotm, fucking transcends bro

Pretty much the same here, but there's a station that plays some Floyd tunes now and then. I think dad showed me some of their songs for the first time, though.

It's a bummer when great bands start to get old. The Floyd hasn't yet, but I haven't gotten the same high as when I first got into them. I suppose it's a different level of listening and appreciation now though.

I'm always careful not to overplay shit I love. I only bust out albums like this a few times a year, that way they stay special.

If you enjoy jamming em, keep jamming em. Then maybe just wait 6 months before you jam again and that shit will be amazing.

I can normally relight the fire after some time, but it's never like the first time discovering one of you're favorite bands. That "holy shit" feeling where something is so fresh and engaging. I think I'm constantly searching for that moment.
