Yeah this is so good. It takes me to far away lands in a time long before my lifetime. It was a different experience after getting it on vinyl recently but still just as awesome, more awesome than ever.

i don't understand the whole "omg vinyl makes it sound so different" thing, as much as i love collecting and listening to vinyl i don't hear a significantly huge difference

I've always appreciated the expression of one's opinion. I'd rather have someone say they outright fucking hated this than pretend to like it. Props for the Snox.

@demigod93: Yeah I know what you are saying but it really was idk, the lyrics especially gave me a different impression, but still the sound quality of that record on vinyl is just mind blowing honestly, Elephant 6's recording studio is gold.

Phil definitely sold more records than Pete but by god is Pete's stuff better

Yeah you'll know what I'm talking about once you do @demigod. Record players do offer a wider range harmonics that aren't audible to the human ears but the brain is able to perceive, when I was listening to it it sounded like Jeff was playing guitar right next to me.

Yeah they just sound clearer, warmer, more real... I also find they have a way nicer bottom end, so electronic music sounds incredible on them.

Aren't the encoded in 0-9 rather than just 0s and 1s like CDs? That might be it

Also as you turn records up, all that happens is they get louder... they don't start getting sharp and muddy like digital music or CDs do

Agreed Polyethylene. Unless the album was recorded in a shitty digitalized way like some modern albums it can really do alot.
