Not liking Screamer at all, which is alarming for a band that mostly delivers on their singles.

Yeah I’m sort of 50/50 on it tbh. I won’t be happy if the entire album is in that vein though. I like all their albums, even Dopamine and Ursa Major, So it’ll be a bit of a shocker if I don’t like this.

Funny thing is that Stephan Jenkins said they weren’t gonna make albums anymore. Just release songs and an EP here and there digitally only. I’m glad he re-nigged on it, but I had no idea they were working on nor releasing an album. Nice surprise.

Nice rating, Artuma.

Semi-Charmed Life is the best song here by a country mile.

My favorite off this is either Graduate or Losing a Whole Year

Even after countless spins, though, the back half is just way too weak compared to the front to ever consider 5ing this

The back half is my favourite haha. It's all about those last 4 songs for me, maybe 5.

I wish I felt the same. This album just tanks after London for me

I kinda feel that way with some of the middle. Jumper, Graduate (hot take!) and London are my least favs. Still all solid songs, just cannot touch something like Motorcycle Drive By.

The last 3 songs here are by far the best imo. One of the best endings to any album I've listened to actually

Yeah the Background and God of Wine are unreal, for some reason I can't get into Motorcycle as much, but it's still a good track.

Yep and this is pretty much popular opinion/common knowledge. Second half is where it turns from great to a classic.

This would be a 5 if London, Good for You, and Burning Man didn't exist.

Yeah Good for You is probably the weakest track here. Took me a while to come around on London but I think it's decent. Burning Man, however, is great. Always loved that one

Burning Man is killer. Good for You is one of the weaker ones for sure but I still like it a lot.

Jumper is the only one I always skip.
