yeah thats the problem. i have the feeling they went far more generic with the new one which is not a good thing. controller is miles infront so far, melodic wise and overall. well i still hope it grows on me but AL would only get a 3 from me at the moment.

this does not have more breakdowns. or at least the ones on here are less obvious breakdowns. the breakdowns on absent light are retarded

Absent Light was pretty awesome on first listen. Just can't wait till I start remembering the songs more after some consecutive listens, I'm sure I'll be in love with it then.

listening to luminary right now and it's really good

i just said this in the new song thread but

the last 4 songs are fucking massive. i don't immediately love the entire album though but i honestly have never instantly fallen in love with anything of theirs. hell, it took me 4 years to finally appreciate mirrors
