they still put on a killer show. shoutout to the bassist, Yoav Ruiz-Feingold, bringing mad stage-energy getting the crowd engaged. So much passion I had to check out his own projects. his band Overtoun put out a killer LP in 2021 for groove-thrash-death, got some live renditions out this year. Cool to see modern South American bands with post-colonial themes

for the deathier / techier parts my Pestilence comparison still holds, but there's a good amount of variety on that Overtoun album and its really tasteful

One of the best live shows I’ve ever seen. They played so many songs, they played 7/8 of the tracks on this. They had a longer set than Cynic.
