"I actually much prefer the original. I think the remastered version ruins some of the songs- especially the title track "
the title track is much better on the original version agreed but hanging moon is so much better on the redux. the pros and cons of the redux compared to the original one kinda even themselves out imo

I do prefer the original t/t and probably the original version overall, but I can see why they'd remaster it and why some people love it. One of the best title tracks of all time, imo.

I have the newest DVD they put out and something that really surprises me is that they wrote the title track from this like RIGHT after Jane Doe came out and they'd just been playing it live years before they ever recorded it.

They played several of the songs on this live before recording the album. Especially You Fail Me was basically a jamming seession in early performances. Especially vocal patterns and lyrics seem to have been quite different before recording.
